Disney Query Example
Using Google...
1. First, I typed "Walt Disney Pictures" and retrieved 2,000,000 documents! (many of which weren't very helpful)
2. Then, I tried allintitle:Walt Disney Pictures and retrieved 24,400 documents, which for the first 10 retrievals looked much like my first query
3. Then I tried allintitle:Walt Disney Pictures | allintitle:Disney Movies which retrieved 721, which had much more commercial items.
(note: '|' means OR)
4. To eliminate the commercial items I used allintitle:Walt Disney Pictures | allintitle:Disney Movies | allintitle: Disney * -books -travel -book -amazon and retrieved 28 items. Although many of these retrievals still were not that useful, at least there are a more manageable number of retrievals.
(note: '*' means many options i.e. Disney [fill in the blank] )
Unfortunately my next query, which then added "inurl:edu" was too suspicious for Google and yielded this message:
